Vikram's 'Iru Mugan' To Take On Dhanush's 'Kodi' At The Box Office.

Chiyaan' Vikram's fans were eagerly waiting for their favourite actor's next project and were relieved to learn about, a film which will allegedly showcase Vikram in a dual role for the first time in his acting career. Starring Nayantara and Nithya Menon in prominent roles, Iru Mugan is directed by Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame.

The latest news regarding the flick has it that, the makers of Iru Mugan have decided to release it during the long festival weekend, during which Ramzan is celebrated. Aiming to release their movie on July 7th, the team of Iru Mugan is apparently planning to cash in on the four day opening weekend. Now, it's worth recollecting that a few days ago, reports surfaced suggesting the release date of Dhanush's Kodi. It was said that Kodi may hit theatres during the Ramzan weekend and according to sources close to the project, the makers are still confident of releasing their movie in July.
